10 Day Freedom Plan Blog Challenge

This blog post is in response to  Natalie’s 10 Day Freedom Plan Blog Challenge Day 6  #10DBC, #freedomplan

Note from Natalie:

Finding your tribe. It is crucial that you find people who can support and guide you in your journey. People who are on a similar path or those who have already accomplished what you want to do. I’ll show you how to find these people, even if you feel there’s no one like that around you.

Day 6 Challenge:

Find 1 or 2 people who are living the kind of life you want to live, and whose tribe you’d love to be part of. Then write a short post about why you find them inspiring and the one question you would ask them if you met in real life.

Finding my tribe

Your tribe is made up of the people who understand and support you, and can inspire you to keep going is crucial to creating your own freedom lifestyle successfully. Natalie Sisson

The Importance of Finding Your Tribe

Having mentors, coaches, a support network, accountability partners, is so important whether starting out in business or seasoned in business. What has helped me connect with my tribe most recently is joining a number of Facebook groups of like-minded people. Being a naturally introverted person it has been a bit overwhelming to reach out to others.

It has gotten a lot easier. Every day I go on to social media with the goal of responding to someones post, commenting, giving feedback or asking a question. I have made more friends in the last few weeks than I have in a long time. Other ways I connect with my tribe is by attending both paid and free events, conferences, local meet-ups and masterminds in my area. Each month I set a goal to attend one in-person event. I cannot tell you how much I have come out of my shell just by doing this.

Two People Who Inspire Me

Chris Record

Chris Record is an Internet Marketing genius. He has been in the Internet Marketing game since 1998. He has had tremendous success in the Internet Marketing space and has created a number of great courses, programs and software.  Chris is the perfect example of what is possible is you work hard and put your mind to something and you take massive action. Chris Record was not always a hugely successful internet marketer. He started from the bottom and worked his way up. Chris grew up in government housing with his mom.

Today he is the CEO and Co-founder of Tecademics…

the first Internet Marketing College. Chris inspires me because his story shows me what is possible. What I love about Chris is how real, passionate, authentic and transparent he is. He is the most genuine person in the IM game out there. There is no one like Chris out there. With Chris you feel you are a part of his family. He often refers to us as his FAM. That is really what made me connect with Chris. If I met Chris in person the question I would ask him would be what 3 specific tips would he give to someone who wants to get started in internet marketing?

Tracy Timberlake

Tracy Timberlake is an award winning Beauty Vlogger turned Business Coach that helps women create visual content that converts into clients and cash using the power of video. She is a top visibility strategist. I recently participated in Tracy’s 5-day YouTube Challenge back in August 2016. This is how I came to know Tracy was through the challenge. To say I was beyond impressed by her is an understatement. Her vibrant energy and her engaging personality made you feel like she was your long lost best friend. She gave so much support, inspiration and guidance during the challenge. I was just blown away by the quality of her program and how she nurtured and helped us. She was with us every step of the way cheering us on!

Tracy has been such an amazing support system…

Quite honestly, she has been my greatest cheerleader. I just love how transparent she is and the way she uses herself as an example. I I admire the things that she has done in her business that has allowed her to have the kind of success she has. She really has opened herself up to me and the others. She is a great example to learn from and follow. What inspires me the most about Tracy was how she was able to transition from her 9-5 job in less than 5 months and build a 6-figure online empire in 8 months.  If I met Tracy in person the question I would ask her would be what was the one thing that allowed her to see success so quickly after leaving her job? The second question I would ask her would be what was the biggest mistake she made starting her business? And what is the one thing she would do differently in here business in hind sight?

Thank you Natalie Sisson!

Thank you Natalie for yet another amazing challenge. Today’s challenge really drove home  the importance of surrounding myself with the right support system and network. If it is one thing I know for sure we do not do this by ourselves. I am so grateful for those who have stretched their hand to help me on my journey.
